Finding the Good

Endured the bugs, rain and wind, 18 hr days, and camping at the Sturgis North Festival, but enjoyed the great and friendly vendors and bikers I met, so I’ll just chalk this one up to experience. It was interesting to see all the bikers that came from all over, wearing their black leather garb, colourful tattoos and vests with group names and lots of patches like big tough boy scouts. Boys and their toys.

I did an interesting session on a huge HA guy who really tuned into the energy work I was doing during his Shamanic Massage, and his sensitivity to the shifting in his chakras helped me see a different side than the muscles and tattoos showed me at first meeting. I have never massaged someone with tattoos and I actually paused for a moment after I put on the oil half expecting it to run!

Glad to be in a warm bed at my sweet friend Lorraine’s place on the river tonight, as I pause here on my way home to do a few sessions in Kamloops tomorrow. Hope you had a great July weekend whatever you got up to!
